Rise Up

(A poem inspired by Katy Perry song titles)

In the Dark Horse days,
When shadows play,
Feeling like a Lost soul,
Struggling to find my way.

Through the Firework inside,
I strive to ignite,
With a heart that’s Wide Awake,
Seeking the light.

Sometimes it’s Hot N Cold,
Emotions run high,
But I’ll Roar with courage,
Letting fears fly.

With every Teenage Dream,
I’m learning to be,
In this Unconditionally journey,
I’ll set myself free.

I won’t be a One That Got Away,
I’ll embrace what’s true,
In the rhythm of my heart,
I’ll always be Me anew.

So here’s to the struggle,
The battles we face,
For every man out there,
Let’s find our place.

Together we’ll Rise,
Like the stars above,
In the name of our strength,
And the power of love.
