‘For Men To Talk – Ampthill’ Meetings move to a new home at Richmond Manor Care Home

‘For Men To Talk’ is pleased to announce that our Ampthill meetings are moving to a new venue. From August 2026, both our afternoon and evening meetings will take place at Richmond Manor Care Home, in The Picture House, 14 Dunstable Street, Ampthill, MK45 2JT.

Before looking ahead, we would like to say a huge thank you to Wingfield Social Club. They have kindly hosted our Ampthill meetings over the past year and have provided a welcoming space where many men have been able to talk openly, make new friendships and support one another.

Now we are excited to begin the next chapter at Richmond Manor Care Home.

Our first ‘For Men To Talk – Ampthill (Afternoon Huddle)’ at the new venue will be held on Tuesday 4 August 2026 at 2:00pm. The first ‘For Men To Talk – Ampthill (Evening Session)’ will take place on Tuesday 11 August 2026 at 6:00pm.

‘For Men To Talk’ is a peer support group for men living with mental health illnesses such as anxiety, depression and grief. Our meetings provide a safe, relaxed and comfortable place where men can talk about whatever is on their mind.

Conversations often include work, relationships, family life, loneliness, stress, anxiety and many other everyday challenges. There is no pressure to speak. Men are welcome to share as much or as little as they want. There is no need to register beforehand and no referral is required.

The move to Richmond Manor Care Home reflects our commitment to making our meetings accessible, welcoming and supportive for everyone who attends. We hope the new venue will continue to help men feel comfortable enough to open up and realise they are not facing life’s challenges alone.

Alongside our Ampthill meetings, ‘For Men To Talk’ also offers physical, virtual, walking, fishing and social meetings across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Cheshire. This allows more men to find the type of support that works best for them and to connect with others who understand what they are going through.
