I Fight Through the Struggle

(A poem inspired by Stevie Wonder song titles)

Lately, I’ve been feeling low,
Caught between the highs and Ebony Eyes,
I search for a Higher Ground,
But these shadows, they seem to rise.

Superstition whispers doubt in my mind,
But deep down I know, I’m Signed, Sealed, Delivered—still fine.
In moments of darkness, I hear the Golden Lady say,
“You Are the Sunshine of My Life; don’t fade away.”

I’ve been running through the Village Ghetto Land in my heart,
Trying to keep the pieces from falling apart.
But like Sir Duke says, the rhythm’s still there,
Even when it feels like life’s not fair.

So I lean into my Visions, I hold them tight,
I fight through the struggle, reaching for light.
For every storm, there’s Overjoyed on the other side,
A place where peace and my spirit collide.

Through the echoes of Pastime Paradise, I grow,
A man with dreams, still ready to show,
That no matter how hard the journey may seem,
In the end, I’ll Master Blaster through this dream.
