In a Flashlight’s Heartbeat

(A poem inspired by Ellie Goulding song titles)

In the Lights, we feel the weight,
Burn the shadows, don’t hesitate.
With Explosions, we rise and fall,
But we’ll never let the darkness take all.

How Long Will I Love You echoes near,
In Something in the Way You Move, we find cheer.
On My Mind, let the worries flow,
And remember, it’s okay to let go.

When the Hate Me whispers loud,
Stand tall, don’t hide in the crowd.
With a Starry Eyed heart, we’ll brave the night,
In Still Falling For You, find your light.

So let the world see you shine,
In the Outside noise, your voice is divine.
Together, we’ll break down the wall,
And rise together, stronger for all.
