I’m on my own

(A poem inspired by Bananarama song titles)
In the Cruel Summer, shadows creep,
Love in the First Degree, it cuts so deep.
When you’re Really Saying Something, don’t be shy,
Reach for help, don’t let it pass you by.
In the Venus of our struggles, we stand tall,
Through the Trick of the Night, we learn to crawl.
I Heard a Rumour, whispers in our minds,
But Help! is what the heart truly finds.
So in this journey, let’s break the mould,
With every Sad Song, let your story unfold.
Together we’ll rise, not just survive,
For in our Love, Truth, and Beauty, we thrive.
