Men’s Health Event Returns to Central Bedfordshire – This Time in Flitwick

Following the success of the Men’s Health Event held in February 2026 in Ampthill, we are pleased to announce that another event is on the way.
The first event was delivered in partnership with ‘For Men To Talk’, Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire and the Mayor of Ampthill. It brought together nearly 90 members of the public for open and honest conversations about men’s physical and mental health.
Now, we are returning with another opportunity for men to learn more about their health, access support, and connect with local organisations.
This year’s Men’s Health Event will take place in Flitwick and is being organised by ‘For Men To Talk’, Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire and Councillor John Roberts, the Town Mayor of Flitwick.

The event will include:
- Free admission
- Guest speakers
- Health information and advice
- Community stalls
- Refreshments
Luke Newman, CEO of ‘For Men To Talk’, said: “The response to our Men’s Health Event in Ampthill was fantastic, with nearly 90 people attending throughout the day. It showed how important it is to create opportunities for men to access information, ask questions, and talk openly about their health. We are delighted to be working again with Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire and now Mayor John Roberts to bring this event to Flitwick. We look forward to welcoming local organisations and members of the community for another informative and supportive day.”
Get Involved
We are currently inviting organisations, charities, community groups, and health services to take part. If your organisation would be interested in having a stall, providing information, or supporting the event in any way, we would love to hear from you.
Together, we can help men access the support, information, and connections they need to improve both their physical and mental wellbeing.
We look forward to seeing you in Flitwick on Friday 13 November 2026.
