It’s Hard to See the Light

(A poem inspired by Frank Sinatra song titles)
On The Night We Called It a Day
And shadows fall, I feel Strangers in the Night.
I search for strength, but deep inside,
I’m All Alone, fighting an unseen fight.
My Way is burdened, heart heavy with pain,
Wishing for A Summer Wind to blow away the rain.
Yet, I know, someday I’ll Come Fly With Me
And find the peace that’s meant to be.
Though now it’s hard to see the light,
With every breath, I keep the fight.
The Best is Yet to Come, they say,
So I’ll hold on—
There’s A New Dawn on its way.
