Through the Dark

(A poem inspired by One Direction song titles)

Night Changes in my mind,
A Story of My Life I can’t leave behind.
I’m Ready to Run but can’t find my way,
Trapped in Little Things that haunt every day.

What Makes You Beautiful fades in the night,
When Drag Me Down feels too heavy to fight.
But Through the Dark, I hear a small sound,
A whisper of hope that’s been buried deep down.

Live While We’re Young they say with a smile,
But History shows I’ve been struggling a while.
Still, Steal My Girl is the voice of my heart,
Reminding me love’s never too far apart.

So, when Clouds fill the sky and the rain’s pouring in,
I’ll remember You & I and begin again.
Because even in pain, there’s light in the air,
And No Control means letting go of despair.
