General News, News & Events

Did you know that the ‘For Men To Talk’ Knowledge Base is available online and full of helpful resources that can be downloaded free of charge?

Whether you are looking for information about our meetings, men’s health, mental health support, or organisational documents, the Knowledge Base provides easy access to a wide range of resources. All documents are available in the latest PDF format, making them simple to view, download, and share.

One of the most popular resources is the ‘For Men To Talk Main Poster’, which provides an overview of who we are and the support we offer. We encourage supporters, organisations, workplaces, and community groups to download and display the poster to help raise awareness of men’s mental health.

The Knowledge Base also contains information about our various meeting formats. ‘For Men To Talk’ offers physical, virtual, walking, fishing, and social meetings, giving men different ways to connect and talk in a safe and supportive environment. Meetings currently take place in ‘Ampthill, Biggleswade, Gamlingay, Hitchin, Potton, Sandy, St Neots, and Stockport’.

We are also committed to raising awareness of men’s health issues. Resources available include information on:

  • Prostate cancer symptoms
  • Bladder cancer symptoms
  • Testicular cancer checks
  • Lung cancer symptoms
  • Bowel cancer checks
  • Skin cancer symptoms

These resources are designed to encourage men to recognise symptoms, seek advice when needed, and take a proactive approach to their health.

The Knowledge Base also includes a range of additional resources, such as:

For organisations and partners, the Knowledge Base also provides access to important corporate documents and policies, including:

  • For Men To Talk – Corporate

  • Policy and Guidelines for Transgender People

These documents help demonstrate our commitment to operating professionally, safely, and inclusively.

Luke Newman, CEO of For Men To Talk, said: “We want our resources to be as accessible as possible. The Knowledge Base allows individuals, organisations, and supporters to quickly find information about our meetings, men’s health, mental health support, and governance documents. We encourage people to make use of these resources and share them with others who may benefit.”

The ‘For Men To Talk’ Knowledge Base continues to grow as new resources are developed. We encourage everyone to visit regularly, explore the available materials, and download anything that may be useful.

Together, we can continue to raise awareness, encourage conversations, and support men’s mental health.
