Changes to the ‘For Men To Talk’ social media channels
In late January 2023, having originally launched meetings in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, ‘For Men To Talk’ announced that they would like to launch in other villages, towns or cities throughout the country and were looking for ‘For Men To Talk’ facilitators. We have already seen a number of men interested in taking ‘For Men To Talk’ to their local locations and should they come into fruition, they will require their own social media channels to promote their groups.
Social media is an effective tool to promote events due to its reach and engagement potential for men to know about the groups. Creating event pages on platforms like Facebook and Instagram is essential to share details and updates. This also allows users to share to popular Facebook groups locally for further promotion.
‘For Men To Talk’ have already established meetings in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire and St Neots , Cambridgeshire and recently launched in Sandy, Bedfordshire and Gamlingay, Cambridgeshire. Moving forward and as we continue to grow, we can not include every single event on one specific dedicated ‘For Men To Talk’ social media channel. It would just get too busy.
Over the coming months, the current ‘For Men To Talk’ social media channels will only be dedicated to ‘For Men To Talk’ news, links to informative blogs from the website, positive posts to improve mental health and also details on the virtual meetings.
Each location of a ‘For Men To Talk’ meeting, will have their own social media channels and committed pages on the website. So please follow the pages that your villages, towns or cities falls under, as all the information and meeting dates will be stated there.
