Saying thank you to our friend Paul ‘Gorilla’ Leggat

General News, News & Events

In February 2023, we sadly and suddenly lost a member of the ‘For Men To Talk’ family in Paul ‘Gorilla’ Leggat.

Paul attended our physical meetings in St Neots and Biggleswade, as well as our walking group.

Described as kind and wonderful and with so much love, kindness and compassion for all of his friends, Paul will be truly missed by many people.

His partner, Alison, very kindly requested family flowers at Paul’s ‘Celebration of Life’ and for donations to be made in his memory to ‘For Men To Talk’, a group which Paul passionately supported.

“I am deeply touched by this thoughtful gesture,” said ‘For Men To Talk’ founder Luke Newman. “I can only imagine the depth of emotions and the challenges Paul’s partner, friends and family must be facing during this difficult time. I am honoured to be able to express my appreciation on behalf of the group.”

“We strive to create a safe and supportive space for men to share their experiences and struggles. Paul’s memory will serve as a reminder to us all of the importance of providing an outlet for those in need.”

Paul’s ‘Celebration of Life’ raised an amazing amount of £509.69 which will support more men suffering with anxiety, depression and grief to talk with other fellow sufferers.

From all of us at ‘For Men To Talk’, we send all our love to Paul’s loved ones.
