‘For Men To Talk’ celebrating over £2,000 raised as part of the Co-op Local Community Fund
‘For Men To Talk’ is celebrating receiving a total of £2,150.03 from the local Gamlingay, Cambridgeshire Co-op store as part of the Local Community Fund from October 2023 until October 2024.
But it doesn’t stop there! Co-op members, in Comberton, Papworth Everard, Cambourne, as well as Gamlingay again, can now choose ‘For Men To Talk’ as a cause from now until October 2025. The more members who choose ‘For Men To Talk,’ the more money ‘For Men To Talk’ receives from the Local Community Fund.
The Co-op Local Community Fund helps projects across the UK that matter to their members. Each year, they work with thousands of local groups to raise as much money as possible. Since 2016, Co-op has shared over £108 million with nearly 40,000 community projects across the UK.
At Co-op, profits go back into local communities. As a Co-op Member, you can choose a cause that means something to you, and a part of the Local Community Fund will go to that cause.
“For Men To Talk is incredibly grateful to the Gamlingay Co-op and everyone in the community who chose to support us through the Local Community Fund. This generous £2,150.03 donation will make a real difference, allowing us to reach more men and create a stronger network of peer support in the fight against mental health struggles. Thank you for standing with us and helping to make mental health support accessible to all.”
