‘For Men To Talk’ founder inspired by Simon Squibb at new book signing

General News, News & Events

Luke Newman, founder of ‘For Men To Talk,’ recently attended a book signing with Simon Squibb at the Citizen Hub in St. Neots. It was a great opportunity to hear from someone who has built success from nothing and now dedicates his time to helping others do the same.

Simon Squibb is the founder of HelpBnk.com, a platform designed to help people start businesses. His journey began in hardship—at just 15 years old, he was kicked out of his home after his father passed away. With no money and nowhere to go, Simon started his first business while homeless. Over the years, he built a successful marketing agency, Fluid, which he later sold to PwC for a life-changing sum.

Now, Simon focuses on giving back. His goal is to help 10 million people launch their own businesses. He’s become well known for his creative approach, including buying a staircase in London and attaching a doorbell where people can pitch their business ideas. His #GiveWithoutTake movement has gained a massive following, with over 12 million people engaging with his inspiring content online.

His latest book, What’s Your Dream?, is a guide to finding purpose and taking action toward personal goals. It blends Simon’s personal stories with practical steps for anyone looking to build a meaningful life. The message resonates with Luke Newman, who dreams of running ‘For Men To Talk’ full-time, providing even more support for men struggling with anxiety, depression, and grief.

During the signing, Luke had the chance to speak with Simon about the impact of ‘For Men To Talk.’ The group offers a space where men can open up about their struggles in a safe and supportive environment. With physical, virtual, fishing, and walking meetings, the goal is to make support accessible to all.

Reflecting on the event, Luke shared: “Hearing Simon’s story reminded me why I started ‘For Men To Talk’—to create a space where men can share their struggles without fear. Everyone deserves support, and we all have the power to help one another.”

Simon’s message is clear: everyone has a dream, and with the right support, they can make it happen. That’s something ‘For Men To Talk’ embodies as well—helping men find strength through conversation and community.

The event was an inspiring reminder that no matter where you start, with determination and support, anything is possible.
