For Men To Talk Meets Hear2Listen: A New Collaboration Ahead

‘For Men To Talk’ founder Luke Newman recently met with ‘Hear2Listen’, a regional non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the emotional wellbeing of young people. With a shared passion for mental health and support, both organisations are looking forward to collaborating in the future.
What is Hear2Listen?
‘Hear2Listen’ provides professional services designed to help young people overcome barriers that prevent them from living healthy, fulfilling lives. Their goal is to offer innovative and engaging activities to support emotional and physical wellbeing.
They have also launched a Studio space in the centre of Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. This space offers various activities to help young people stay active, relaxed, and engaged.
Activities include:
Bungee Fitness
Bungee Fitness is a unique workout that combines resistance training and cardio while being attached to a bungee cord. It’s a fun and effective way to exercise, allowing participants to jump, move, and train in a new way. With the potential to burn up to 700 calories per session, it’s a great way to stay fit while having fun.
Aerial Sound Healing
Aerial Sound Healing is a group meditation that uses healing sound waves to bring the mind and body into balance. Participants relax in a hammock while meditative sounds shift the brain into a deep relaxation state. This helps with stress relief and emotional wellbeing.
VR Gameplay
Using state-of-the-art Virtual Reality technology, young people aged 10+ can fully immerse themselves in a gaming world. These hour-long sessions provide an exciting experience, whether for beginners or experienced gamers. Trained facilitators are available to guide participants and ensure they get the most out of the session.
Coming Soon – Sensory Room
A new sensory room is being developed, featuring an interactive 32m² floor that allows users to play games and engage with creative visuals. This space is designed with vibrant lights and calming music to provide stimulating and relaxing experiences for both visual and auditory needs.
Luke Newman, founder of ‘For Men To Talk’, expressed his enthusiasm about the potential partnership:
“It was fantastic to meet the team at Hear2Listen and learn about the brilliant work they’re doing for young people’s mental health. At ‘For Men To Talk’, we know how important it is to provide a safe space for men to open up. Working together with Hear2Listen could help us reach even more people in need of support.”
