What is ‘For Men To Talk’?
‘For Men To Talk’ is a men’s peer support group. It provides a safe space for men suffering from anxiety, depression, and grief to talk with others who understand their struggles. The group offers physical, virtual, fishing, and walking meetings, giving men different ways to connect and find support.
We are a Community Interest Company (CIC). A CIC is a special type of limited company that exists to benefit the community rather than private shareholders. ‘For Men To Talk’ was founded with the sole purpose of helping men discuss their mental health and reducing the stigma around it.
Why Fundraising Matters
As a CIC, ‘For Men To Talk’ relies on financial donations to continue its work. Every penny raised helps us to provide safe spaces for men to open up about their mental health.
Luke Newman, founder of ‘For Men To Talk,’ says, “It’s amazing to see the community come together to support our stall. Every donation helps us continue to provide a safe space for men to talk, share, and heal.”
By donating unwanted items or supporting the stall, you are directly helping men who need a place to talk and feel understood.
