(A poem inspired by Diana Ross song titles)

Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,
Yet sometimes, I feel the weight,
Ain’t Nothing But a Heartache,
Heavy thoughts I can’t negate.

Reach Out and Touch (Somebody’s Hand),
But isolation calls my name,
I’m Coming Out, I want to be free,
Yet fear keeps me in this game.

You’re So Very Special,
But do I believe that’s true?
Upside Down, my mind spins around,
Searching for a brighter view.

I Will Survive, I tell myself,
Through storms that rage within,
Endless Love is what I seek,
In a world that feels like sin.

Love Hangover, it lingers on,
From battles fought alone,
But I’ll find strength, The Boss inside,
And claim this heart as my own.

Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,
With friends beside me, I will climb,
Together we can break these chains,
I’m Still Waiting—for the time.

So, don’t go breaking my heart,
Instead, let’s share our fears,
In this journey towards the light,
The Best Years of Our Lives are here.
