A man’s silent cry

General News, Music, News & Events, Poetry

In the Lonely Days that stretch so wide,
I hide behind the shadows, where feelings collide.
I Started a Joke but no one could see,
The pain inside, the man I can’t set free.

How Deep Is Your Love? I ask the night,
As thoughts of sorrow dim the light.
But I keep dancing, though the room’s a storm,
Wishing to Stayin’ Alive through what’s the norm.

A Tragedy unfolds, though no one can tell,
A man who’s hurting hides it well.
But I’ll keep walking, though I’m torn,
You Win Again—I face the morn.

If only the world could Run to Me,
Understand this quiet plea.
But still I smile, still I fight,
Hoping for peace when it feels right.

So here I stand, with hope in sight,
Under the stars, in the quiet night.
To Love Somebody starts with me,
Healing the wounds only I can see.
