The Greatest Love

(A poem inspired by Whitney Houston song titles)

In the silence, where I will always love you,
A whisper of hope breaks through the pain,
It’s not right, I say, as I search for my heart,
I wanna dance with somebody, free from the strain.

With every step, I look to the sky,
I know that the greatest love is inside,
So, I’ll run to you, my strength, my guide,
Even when the world feels heavy, I won’t hide.

Through the storms and the dark, I will not be broken,
Where do broken hearts go? They learn to mend,
I’ll stand by you, my friend, as we fight the unseen,
In this life, together, we will transcend.

I believe in miracles, in healing’s embrace,
With each tear I shed, I’ll find my grace,
The bodyguard of my soul, I’ll be strong,
In this journey of life, we’ll find where we belong.
