A ghost in the mirror

(A poem inspired by Lewis Capaldi song titles)

In the silence of the night,
I feel Bruises deep inside.
Lost in the weight of Someone You Loved,
I can’t seem to find where I once belonged.

The days feel like Hold Me While You Wait,
But my heart keeps breaking, it’s hard to relate.
Each step forward, I feel Fade,
A ghost in the mirror, memories replayed.

Before You Go, did you see the pain?
The storms within me, the constant rain.
Grace feels distant, slipping away,
I’m Forever trying, yet still led astray.

But through the cracks, there’s a light,
In the darkest Pointless nights.
Though I may fall, I’ll rise again,
With the hope that one day, I’ll mend.

For even in shadows, love remains,
A flicker of strength amidst the chains.
