‘For Men To Talk’ launches new look meetings page to make support even easier to find

General News, News & Events

‘For Men To Talk’ has launched a new look meetings page on its website, making it clearer and easier than ever for men to find support in their local area. The updated events page (https://formentotalk.co.uk/events/) now clearly shows the towns, venues, days and times of each meeting.

The aim is simple: remove barriers and make it straightforward for men to attend.

‘For Men To Talk’ is a peer support group for men living with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression and grief. It offers a safe and comfortable space where men can talk openly about what is going on in their lives. Conversations often cover work, relationships, family pressures, stress, sleep and many other everyday issues.

There are no rules or regulations. No registration or referral is required. Men can say as much or as little as they like. Some attend to talk. Others come to listen. Both are equally welcome.

Luke Newman, CEO and founder of ‘For Men To Talk’, said: “We want men to find help quickly and easily. The new meetings page makes it clear where we are, when we meet and how simple it is to come along. If you’re struggling, you don’t need permission or paperwork — you just need to turn up.”

The community interest company has continued to grow year after year. It now offers physical, virtual, walking and fishing meetings across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Cheshire. Current locations include Ampthill, Biggleswade, Blunham, Potton, Shefford, Flitwick, Sandy, St Neots, Gamlingay, Hitchin and Stockport.

In addition, ‘For Men To Talk about Autism’ provides a dedicated and inclusive space for autistic men, men with autistic family members, or those waiting for a diagnosis. It offers connection and shared understanding around autism.

For those who simply want time together, the ‘For Men To Talk Social Club’ focuses on social connection rather than tough conversations. Monthly trips include visits to restaurants, cinemas and comedy clubs.

The website itself has also expanded. Visitors can now explore a range of helpful sections.

The ‘About’ page shares Luke Newman’s personal story and explains why he formed ‘For Men To Talk’. His own experiences with mental health led him to create a space where men could speak honestly without judgement.

There is also a Male Cancer Awareness section, helping to raise understanding of cancers that affect men and encouraging early conversations around health.

The Frequently Asked Questions page answers common concerns, such as what happens at a meeting and whether someone needs to talk.

The News and Blogs section keeps readers updated on events, partnerships and important topics linked to men’s mental health.

Testimonials offer real words from men who attend, sharing how the group has helped them feel less alone.

The website also features The Mental Health Moles, a book written and designed by Luke Newman. The moles explore topics such as anxiety, depression, grief, social media, stress and sleep in a simple and engaging way. The book is used to help start conversations and make mental health easier to understand.

With a clearer website and growing number of meetings, ‘For Men To Talk’ continues its mission: giving men a safe space to speak, listen and realise they are not alone.
