The mind we fight

(A poem inspired by Dua Lipa song titles)
In the Hallucinate of thoughts, we often hide,
Where Love Again seems far, and pain is our guide.
Don’t Start Now, we whisper to our tears,
Fighting battles, with no one who hears.
We crave a Break My Heart to feel alive,
In this endless search, we struggle to thrive.
With every Levitating hope that we raise,
We’re caught in a maze, lost in the haze.
Physical strength won’t ease the strain,
It’s the mind we fight, enduring the pain.
We dream of Future Nostalgia, where peace is found,
But Be the One to lift us off the ground.
No New Rules can fix what’s inside,
But together we rise, side by side.
